Next, the spotlight will shift to a Santur solo performance, featuring improvisations rooted in Middle Eastern and Persian classical music traditions, bringing the rich resonances of this ancient instrument to life.
The program will conclude with two contemporary 20th-century sections:
A collection of pieces for soprano and fixed-media electronics, blending Persian poetry with cutting-edge extended vocal techniques and electronic programming.

An immersive audiovisual experience, exploring how installation, video, lighting, projection, graphics, and text intertwine with sound to create a unique sensory journey.
A sought-after singer, professional in a wide range of styles; from early music to contemporary cutting-edge extended techniques.
In this performance, she will take the audience on a journey from Bel Canto traditions to avant-garde contemporary vocal explorations, blending the past's elegance with the present's experimental possibilities.
The contemporary pieces will be performed in the third section, showcasing extended vocal techniques and electronic soundscapes.


Shaghayegh Bagheri
A professional classical pianist, accompanying Shaghayegh in the Italian Baroque repertoire before performing a Theme and Variations by J.S. Bach. His interpretation aims to challenge how older repertoires can be (re)interpreted, offering fresh and innovative perspectives while remaining grounded in their original genre.


Kasra Faridi
A long-time performer, researcher, and educator of Middle Eastern musical systems, with a special focus on the traditional instrument Santur.
His performance will revive nearly forgotten resonances of Persian and Middle Eastern music, sounds that likely form the foundational roots of many modern musical traditions.


Masoud AsgharNejad


A sound artist, pianist, and interdisciplinary composer exploring immersive audio experiences.
In this performance, Deniz will create a sonic landscape that blends electronic soundscapes with architectural inspirations, offering a unique auditory journey rooted in experimental sound art.
Together with Farbod Maeen, Deniz will craft an immersive environment where sight and sound merge into a powerful, contemporary art performance.
Deniz Tafaghodi
An audiovisual composer-performer working at the intersection of sound and visual arts.
Farbod's live performance will explore the visual and spatial elements of the concert, using installation, video, lighting, projection, and graphics to translate geometric intricacies of various cultures into a rich sensory experience.
He will perform alongside Deniz Tafaghodi, merging their artistic visions in a collaborative dialogue of sound and visuals.
